AO NextStep is located in Hîncești and it serves as a hub for the youth of the raion to learn more about potential higher educational opportunities based on what their interests are.
The goal for their project was to provide the training, workshops and coaching needed to youth in career guiding including personal development opportunities. This was accomplished by offering a wide range of introductory workshops to the young people in Hincesti, based on their interests, passion, and curiosity. It also gave them an opportunity to practice their interest and to develop new skills and abilities.
At the end of their project, 230 students utilized the technical equipment that were purchased and 45 students attended the taught courses. All 45 of those students have expressed interest in continuing with pursuing further studies in their respected field choice.
One participant of the project originally expressed interest in the IT field. The student spent roughly a year and a half studying IT and decided that it was not for him.
